There are hundreds of small cafés around London like this one and generally they are all pretty good. The emphasis is normally on fried food and sandwiches but every now and then I quite fancy a cooked English breakfast.

What I like about this particular place is that the food is good, the wait staff are very friendly and there is a fantastic seating area upstairs with lots of glass in the roof so it is really light and airy. The location is handy if you are shopping around the Oxford Street / Tottenham Court Road area.
Prices, for this part of London, are very reasonable.

Since I wrote this tip and took the photo there has been a name change. What was Speedy's is now the Dolce Vita Restaurant. Oooh, very fancy!

Favorite Dish: A traditional English breakfast fry up (if I'm in the mood) or one of their very tasty pasta dishes. There are pizzas on the menu but I haven't tried one yet.
