  Hallways to Sistine Chapel
by Pawtuxet

Noone ever told me that you walk through what seems like miles of hallways to get to the chapel. Along the way there is so much art that you are fully saturated by the time you get to the chapel itself. All of it gorgeous, of course. I've never been so bombarded by art as I have been in Italy. So many gorgeous sculptures, statues and paintings...buildings, trees, everything is a work of art. One could spend an entire vacation covering one square block and perhaps not see everything.
