"Grand Canyon" Grand Canyon Tip by sunnywong

Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park: 65 reviews and 124 photos

Providing one of the park's most breathtaking sights, the turbulent Yellowstone River roars and foams through 24 miles of golden-hued cliffs (from which the river gets its name). The Yellowstone River originates from Yellowstone Lake, descending into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone over two major waterfalls. Water plunging 109 feet over Upper Falls is impressive, but it is thunderous Lower Falls at 308 feet that is truly indicative of the power of nature. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone ends at Tower Fall.
