"American Museum of Natural History" American Museum of Natural History Tip by darthmilmo

Let the kid in you wonder off for hours in the American Museum of Natural History. You can easily spend a day or two in here so pace yourself. I suggest you get a free map of the floor exhibits and start with what you like and then go from there. There are so many things covered in the museum you'll have a field day if you want to see it all. My favorite exhibits are the dinosaurs fossils (they have a fossilized standing T-rex in exhibit) and the ice age fossils rooms (check out the mighty Mammoth fossils). However, there is much much more! There are rooms covered with animal specimens from all over the world, including Asia, Africa, America, and more. Unfortunately, the aquatic room was closed for renovation so I missed the blue whale exhibit :(.
