"A Seattle Original" Downtown Seattle Tip by Sunshine64

Downtown Seattle, Seattle: 17 reviews and 21 photos

If you live in the US, and even if you don't, you've probably heard of Nordstrom, as is now in almost every state.
This fairly high-end department store started out as a shoe store in Seattle about a hundred years ago.

What to buy: My favorite parts of the store are the shoe department (obviously) and the huge area for cosmetics!
They carry some very nice handbags, such as Longchamps from Paris.

What to pay: Shoes are reasonably priced (ranging from $30 to $300+ depending on what you're looking for), and good quality. They carry mostly high end cosmetics, and are priced accordingly. Some of their clothing is overpriced, but they have great sales a couple times each year.

Address: 500 Pine Street (Corner of 5th and Pine)
Directions: Downtown Seattle
The 4th floor of Nordstrom is connected to Pacific Place, the newest downtown mall, via skybridge.

Theme: Department Store

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
