Sorrento Things to Do: 11 reviews and 11 photos

This house was built in 1830 and moved from the west bank of the Mississippi River (3 miles downriver from Sunshine Bridge). It is a typical Arcadian style with a centre hall. In the 1940?s a cannonball from the Civil War gunboats on the Mississippi river was found in the attic by a roofing contractor.

At the Village it is the Pottery store which features handcrafted wares made by local artists. There is functional and well as sculptural pottery. They have artists demonstrations and pottery classes for children and adults.

Address: Cajun Village
