LAND OF GNOMES, GOBLINS AND FAIRIES....
God created during his holidays: green Ireland, greener than whatever other country. In that green: blue spots of lakes, estuaries, brooks, rivers, coves and inlets.
Ireland is not densely populated: there is plenty of peace and quiet, you can hear the silence there.
The population is calm, friendly; never in a hurry, always ready with a friendly word, good to travel and stay there.
In Ireland you can find innumerable reminders of a glorius past: of the Celtic civilisation and of early Christianity such as: Abbeys, castles, Romanesque and Gothic churches and not to forget the many white or pastel coloured thatched houses.
It is a mysterious country with brown peatfields and rough, rocky mountains, woods where you easily can lose your way and: yes sometimes there are certain bushes or trees you mustn't touch or remove because gnomes and goblin, fairies and leprechauns live their and have their mysterious meeting there and you better listen and leave them alone these places.
Ireland surely is :GREEN, FRIENDLY AND HOSPITABLE.
Céad Mile Fàilte: you are welcome a thousand times!
