National Museum, Bangkok: 26 reviews and 48 photos

" The National Museum "
It serves as a good place to learn about the full range of Thai culture, history,
and of the traditional significance of Buddhism to the Thai way of life.
Many of the significant remains of the former capitals Sukhothai and Ayuthaya are displayed here,
and if you're planning to go to them, a visit here first should be rewarding.

A little further north on Na Phra That road is the National Museum. Nearby is the National Theater,
where genuinely authentic classical Thai dance and music can sometimes be seen, and the National Art Gallery
where contemporary and traditional Thai art is on show at in front of the grass field.
