The Aster Cafe: "Cafe overlooking downtown MSP" Minneapolis Restaurant Tip by yooperprof
Minneapolis Restaurants: 184 reviews and 237 photos
An excellent coffeehouse open long hours, from early morning to late at night, convenient to downtown and to the U-District, arty but not pretentious, with an interesting and diverse clientele. Excellent cappacino.
(I made a repeat visit here in May 2007, and found the Aster still going strong. On a Sunday morning in spring, the Aster was busy with people enjoying the fine weather and the fine views just outside the door. Note that parking is limited on Main Street right outside the cafe, but there is plenty on streets just a block or so away.)
Address: 121 Main Street SE
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Price: less than US$10
