"Latino community in Vineland" Vineland Favorite Tip by asturnut

Fondest memory: I grew up in the Latino part of Vineland, center city, and couldn't help but embrace these people, their language and culture. I always remember as neighbors celebrated with friends, especially on hot summer days, hearing lots of laughter and loud salsa and merengue music drifting through the air. And of course, the aroma of rice and beans was never far behind... (My favorite part about growing up in that neighborhood was the food! I swear there is a little Puerto Rican eatery or shop on almost every block. If you ever come to Vineland, find one of these places to eat-- anywhere between 8th and 2nd Streets and Landis and Chestnut Avenues.)
