"There is wildlife in Sussex..." Sussex Warnings Or Dangers Tip by feline01

Sussex Warnings and Dangers: 1 reviews and 0 photos

There is wildlife in Sussex County, most noteably deer and bears. The only issue the deers present is the potential for running in front of your car. And this is primarily caused when hunters pursue them. And the deer gets blamed for just running for its life. Talk about injustice!! Just be aware of the sides of the road and slow down if you see them feeding along side the road. I have never seen a bear but many people have had run-ins lately. They do run in front of cars so be wary if you spot one on the side of the road: don't feed them, don't leave your trash behind-take it with you and just get the heck out of the area if you see a bear. A few years ago, some idiot went to take his kid hiking in Sussex County and saw a bear as they were getting out of their car. He decided to feed the bear so he could take a pic of his kid with the bear. Well, surprise-the bear scratched the man after the man and his child started running back towards their car. The bear wanted to know what else was available for lunch from the cooler (BEAR=NOT stupid animal) and the man finally decided he would be better off leaving the bear alone (HUMAN=a very stupid animal!)
