Fondest memory: I remember quite vividly the scenery around Winthrop. The town really consists of one major road, with a few side streets. The residential parts of the town are located in the surrounding areas. You could drive up tot he top of the nearby hills, and you'd have these wonderful panoramic views. The climate in this region is semi-arid - the perfect kind for a wild west town. It reminded me a lot of the Okanagan Valley in BC, which isn't surprising, as Winthrop is located a few hours south of the BC border.
