Skellig Michael is one of the most beautiful Islands off the Irish Coast - It was inhabited by monks in former times and you may still see the remains of several "Beehive-huts" - small houses built of stones only (without cement).
You may go there only by one-day-cruises - mostly from Waterville or other small villages in the Ring of Kerry.
