Most of the tourist traps have to do with someone trying to get money from you. Some great deals are not always that great. Remember, everyone is selling the best poncho or blanket in all of Mexico, they stamp just because they say it's silver doesn't mean that it won't turn your skin green and just because it's Mexico doesn't mean that they give the tequila away for free.
