If you stay in the lower outer banks as we did there is only one major grocery store other wise they are small general stores that have limted stock ( prices good about same as you wold find in a larger store) For us the food loin was 1 block away from us but I have had friends use this servcie and love it. The prices include the delivery and not that much higher than if you drive to get them. If you stay below Avon you could have a Hour drive to get grocerices for your rental.
