Vaclav II, as he's called in Czech, is the national hero and rides out in front of the National Museum (or Museum of the Kings of Bohemia, as it says on the front in Latin). It's not lost on Czechs that another Vaclav, Havel, led their nation out of its most recent bout of enslavement.
