Polish folk (country) music is various from region to region.
I love mountaneer's folk music from the region called Podhale (around Zakopane). Wow, it sounds marvellous, is loud in some parts and breaks my heart, especially fast sounds of violins.

Except for specially organized festivals, concerts and so called "Polish evenings" for tourists you can hear Polish folk music in its natural enviroment and absolutely live.
Where? In a countryside especially and in some restaurants - in Zakopane for example; on wedding and other ceremonies, sometimes just at the streets in a summertime as well.
