"Unter den Linden" Unter den Linden Tip by Imbi

Unter den Linden, Berlin: 82 reviews and 120 photos

This is the great street full of history. It was a part of the East Berlin. The best thing is start your walk from Alexander Platz and walk all the way to the Brandenburg Gate. Its around thirty minutes walk but if you are keen about history and monuments, trust me time could stretch up to three hours or more.
Named after the lime trees which line its central aisle, Unter den Linden contains many of Berlins best-known landmarks and is the perfect place to start your sightseeing. Architectural highlights include the Zeughaus, the Kronprinzenpalast, the State Opera House, Humboldt University and the Brandenburg Gate.
