"National Cathedral" National Cathedral Tip by soccergrrl

National Cathedral, Washington D.C.: 33 reviews and 63 photos

The cathedral is gorgeous, especially if you get there at the right time of the late afternoon when the warm colors of the setting sun slant through the stained glass and cast blazing patterns on the stone floor. The central tower, which is sometimes open for visitors to climb, is the highest point in the city.
