Lamb & Flag: "Warm beer (Covent Garden)" London Nightlife Tip by leffe3

OK - so we get accused of liking warm beer. The trend is Britain nowadays is for bottled lager (beer to the rest of the world) and cocktails, but there is still the demand (and it is an acquired taste) for good beer (or ale) which should not be served chilled. Pubs in London abound on every street corner: needless to say some are better than others. The same applies to the beer. Standards vary enormously - most pubs served electrically pumped and this is usually not good. Look out for hand-pumped beer - The Lamb & Flag is one great place for the converted or the virgins of British beer - many choices, great atmosphere, very centrally located.

Dress Code: Its a pub - anything but so called work clothes (usually means no boiler suits covered in paint or cement dust!)

Address: Just off Long Acre, Covent Garden
Theme: Eating and Drinking
