"New nature at Samphire Hoe" Dover Off The Beaten Path Tip by Roeffie
Dover Off The Beaten Path: 31 reviews and 28 photos
On the west side of Dover, where the Eurotunnel comes literally in to England, they created a new piece of land, today called Samphire Hoe. Through a small tunnel you reach this artificial made land in front of the White Cliffs. A nice walking area with a dam along the sea. Please stay on the paths. New nature is very fragile. Good views at the harbour and cliffs. An interesting and unexpected piece of work along the M20 to Folkestone.
