Nova Scotia is one of the Maritime Provinces; and in my opinion, a very beautiful part of Canada. Nova Scotia is 7,400 kilometres of capes, cliffs, bays, estuary, and coastline! You are never more than 35 kilometres away from the coast and the Bay of Fundy offers the world`s highest tides! You have to see the beautiful coastline of Cape Breton and take a look at the many lighthouses, like the picturesque one of Peggy's Cove. Nova Scotia has lovely fishing villages, but also historical locations like Fort Louisburg and Lunenburg (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
This part of Canada is not very well known in my former homecountry The Netherlands, but so popular among the Canadians here in Ontario. And I think the Canadians are right this time, Nova Scotia is well worth a visit!
