When walking across the Elisabeth Bridge, from the direction of Inner City, the first thing you see is the monumental fountain and the huge statue on its top.
The monument marks the place where Bishop St. Gellert was martyred, rolled down the hill into the Danube in a barrel in 1046.

Address: Gelert Hill
Directions: Gellert Hill, Buda side.
