"How to get into a Galwegian pub" Night Clubs Tip by orlikins

Night Clubs, Galway: 8 reviews and 4 photos

Galwegian bouncers are _unbelievably_ strict. Always bring ID with you, if you're 20-something.

Main nightspots are around Eyre Square, Dominic and Eglinton streets.

If it turns out that nobody in Galway will let you in, it might be worth your while getting a taxi to the Warwick club in Salthill, cos they'll let in anyone!

The only other alternative is to sit in Supermacs chip shop all night sulking or go to some "old-man" pub.

Dress Code: Dress up, there is a lot of competition to get into the pubs. Many a night has been ruined by a stubborn sneaker-wearer.

Directions: Down by Eglington st
