"Trabzon" Turkey Favorite Tip by globetrott

Fondest memory: I took a walk with some other travel-mates from the Rotel-bus in the old part of Trabzon. And when we had a look into an old house, we were invited by a nice elderly local who had a small 'Tea-room'

In the first moment we were afraid of a 'trap' but he simply wanted to talk to us and offer us tea in the typical tiny little glasses.

It was the smallest tea-room I ever saw. A quarter of the room filled with a sort of Tea-machine and 7 very small chairs and he was talking with hands and feet, explaining he was a truckdriver, who was working across Europe for a long time and now heard us talking german and invited us...
But he only was talking Turkish and it took us a long time to understand, but it was a great evening, he did not accept any money, it was just pure friendliness and hospitality of the very best kind...
