  Queenstown - Harbour

After a quick barbecue lunch at Waterfall Park, we visited Coronet Peak for a panoramic view over the mountains and Lake Waikatipu. Queenstown is today recognised as one of the most important visitor destination. It is perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Waikatipu and surrounded by mountain ranges of the Southern Alps. The town centre is only one square kilometre in size where most restaurants and shops are concentrated. The city offers a lot of sports activities such as :
Bungy Jump, luge, whitewater raft or surf, jet boat down canyons, tandem paragliding or parapente, long walks, four wheels drive treks, or a trip on the lake on a majestic steamboat.
