"OLD TOWN SQUARE" Old-Town Square Tip by acemj

Old-Town Square, Prague: 265 reviews and 497 photos

A spectacle in people-watching, the only problem is that the architecture and history surrounding you will distract you from noticing the people! The astronomical clock is amazing (especially considering that it was constucted circa 1493). The Cathedral rising above the square (The Church of Our Lady of Tyn) is almost surreal, its two towers rising some 80 meters. Each building's facade is an individual work of art. The space itself is as big as Red Square in Moscow and a great gathering place for tourists and locals alike.
I came back here every day, just to stare at my surroundings.

You'll also find a lot of great outdoor cafes here, which are ideal for people watching but you'll definitely pay more for food and beer.
