Make sure you see the changing of the guards. If you want to see the ceremony, here's the best way to do it. Wait at The Mall and Marlborough Road a little after 11am and the Regimental Banner will pass by at 11:10. When they pass, head across The Mall and through the gates of St. James's Park. Cross the bridge over the lake, turn right, and cut across the grass to get to Wellington Barracks on Birdcage Walk. Wait there, opposite the main gate, and at 11:25 the New Guard will march by on the way to Buckingham Palace.
