Lungshan Temple is renowned for its stone sculptures, especially the 12 columns with the dragons wound around them. It is one of the oldest and largest of the more than 5,000 temples and shrines throughout Taiwan and considered to be one of the best examples of traditional Chinese temple architecture. Once a Buddhist temple, over the years more Taoist gods have appeared. The temple is near Snake Alley.

Address: Kwang Chow Street, Wanhua District Taipei.
Directions: Take a Bus : West, 9, 25, 38, 49, 62, 231, 234, 242, 264, 310, 601, 624, 628, 701 or 702 and get off at the Lungshan Temple Station.

MRT: Take the Nankang Line directly to the Lungshan Temple Station
