Harrods - Diana & Dodi Memorial, London: 58 reviews and 92 photos

This famous store began back in 1849 when Henry Charles Harrod, a wholesale tea merchant of Eastcheap, took over a grocer's shop in the village of Knightsbridge.

Its very touristy but still you get to see women dripping with diamonds 'browsing' expensive and fashionable clothes, maybe the odd familiar face if you are lucky. The toy department is pretty extraordinary and the food halls, which fill 7 rooms, are crammed with amazing gourmet goodies.

Be careful what you wear when entering the store, Harrod's has tight security and they require a reasonable dress code. It what you are wearing is considered to skimpy, you may be turned away.
