Golden Gate Park, San Francisco: 106 reviews and 206 photos

The park is most famous for its special gardens and landscapes, such as the Shakespeare Garden, Rhododendron Dell, and Japanese Tea Garden, Strybing Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. There are also two Dutch windmills which sit at the west end of the park. You can rent rowboats at Stow Lake and do a bit of punting. On Sundays, the main route through the park is closed to cars so that people can enjoy this really love park at a more leisurely pace.

You can purchase a park Explorer Pass, good for admission to all three museums, the conservatory, and the Japanese Tea Garden, at a 25 percent savings.
