A&M Roadhouse on Murray St. (west of Church) in lower Manhattan.
Roadhouse atmosphere; good jukebox; 3 blocks from Ground Zero. Good bar-b-que and southern-style cooking. Not outrageously priced (either for drinks or food). Good lobster special on Wednesdays (. . . well, yes . . . that is more New England . . .). Food available for lunch or dinner. And, of course, you can smoke, eat, and drink at the bar.

Dress Code: Casual dress . . . this is no velvet rope place.

Directions: located on Murray St. in the block west of Church St. in lower Manhattan. You can take the 1 train to Chambers St. and walk south a couple of blocks on West Broadway to Murray . . . look to your left
