Favorite thing: Located northeast of Vancouver, the Thompson Okanagan region is easily accessible by car via the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) and the Coquihalla (Hwy 5) from the Vancouver area, via Highway 97 from the United States and Northern BC, and via Highway 5 and the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) from Alberta.

National airlines provide daily flights into airports in Penticton, Kelowna, and Kamloops. International flights also arrive into Kelowna.
