Fondest memory: This is the spectacular Elephant Rock found here in the Valley of Fire. Isn't it awesome?

There are a few viewpoints which you must not miss seeing and these notable places include:

Petrified Logs: Several colorful fossilized tree trunks, safely fenced off to deter souvenir hunters. Lovely! I mean... the tree trunks.

The Beehives: Weathered, layered sandstone mounds (originally sand dunes in an ancient desert), now preserved in stone!

Mouse's Tank: A natural cavity in the rocks where rainwater collects.... and used as a water source by a Paiute Indian fugitive in the 1890s. This was not of lasting value to him as he was captured and eventually killed after several months of hiding. Anyway, the trail that leads to the Tank passes through various petroglyphs dating from as far back as 1200s.

The White Domes: A separate region with a varied desert vegetation and more rocks of contrasting color (!!).... reached by a 14KM scenic drive/ hiking trail.
