Fondest memory: Yes, beautiful <b><font color=blue>Red Rock Canyon National Park</b></font> again...
Scientists believed that about 65 million years ago, a HUGE earthquake rumbled under the southern Nevada desert and two of the Earth's plates collided with such great force that part of one plate was shoved up over a much younger sandstone formation.
And the result is apparently the <b>Keystone Thrust Fault</b> i.e. part of which is seen at <b><font color=blue>Red Rock Canyon</b></font> today, a truly SPECTACULAR piece of geology, located approximately 40KM west of Las Vegas.
