London Zoo, the most famous Zoo in the world, is situated on the north side of Regent's Park. London Zoo first became established in 1828, housing animals for scientific study. The Zoo didn't open to the public until 1847. The first Reptile House was opened in 1849, the first Public Aquarium in 1853, followed by the Insect House in 1881 and Children's Zoo in 1938
Opening Times
10am until 4pm in winter (November-15 February);
10am until 4.30pm (16 February-8 March);
10am - 5.30pm in summer (9 March-26 October).
Christmas Day - closed

Admission Charges
Adults 11.00; Children (3-15) 8.00; (under 3's free); Senior Citizens, Students & Disabled 9.30; Saver Ticket 2 Adults + 2 children of 1 Adult and 3 Children 34.00.
