Favorite thing: Visit Mission Dolores. One of the Spanish missions built along the Californian coast (see my other California pages like Santa Clara, Carmel, San Juan-Bautista, etc). This mission was one of the lasts to be built, at 1791 and was named after the patron saint of the order which build the missions, the Franciscans.
