"Crossing a Road " Top 5 Page for this destination Singapore Warnings Or Dangers Tip by keeweechic

Crossing a road within 50 metres (164 feet) of a pedestrian crossing risks a S$50 fine. Any person convicted of littering faces a penalty of up to S$1,000. Repeat offenders may face a S$2,000 fine and a stint of cleaning public places. I’m afraid I jay walked all the time, but it can be dangerous and generally they will give tourists a warning. Be very careful though trying to cross Orchard Rd at undesignated places. Fences/railings are put to try and deter you from doing that.
