East Coast Park is found along the East Coast Parkway on the way to the airport. The area is a favourite leisure spot for Singaporeans with its cycling paths, parklands and beach areas. You can hire a bike or go windsurfing. When I first lived in Singapore I lived in Katong (East coast) and often went to one of the many fine seafood restaurants for ‘drunken prawns’ or ‘chilli crab’ – yum!! Its wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the evening overlooking the water. These places do get very crowded on the weekends. There are a few leisure attractions down that way as well from a bowling alley to a gulf driving range.

Address: East Coast
Directions: Take a taxi from Orchard Road, or take SBS bus 16 and alight at Marine Terrace. Then use the underpass to cross the ECP expressway.
