Little India, centred around Serangoon Road, represents the vibrant and colourful culture of the Indian community in Singapore. Women wander in graceful saris and turbaned Sikhs go about their daily business. Small shops all clustered together sell bolts of glittering silks and saris, temple garlands, rich gold jewellery and spices that are ground right in front of you. The wonderful smell just permeates through the air.

Address: Serangoon Road
Directions: Take SBS buses 64, 65, 106 or 111 from Orchard Road. Or you can work from Orchard Road (Dhoby Ghaut MRT station).
