Musée d'Orsay, Paris: 274 reviews and 558 photos
This museum can turn anybody into an art lover. It houses most of the works of Impressionist arsits like Monet, Renoior and Manet, besides other masters like Van Gogh.
It's common to hear people sigh about the Musée D'Orsay, saying they prefered it to the Louvre. Although much smaller, those comments are comprehensible, given the concentration of beautiful XIX Century paintings.
The building was an old train station which was going to be demolished in the 70's, but protests were successful in avoiding it.
