  Mahogany Hall Bern
by Zisch

Looking for a little good music and a relaxed atmosphere? Then what you need is Mahogany Hall.
The Mahogany Hall is part of the musical history of Bern, established in 1968 with the Longstreet Jazzclub. At the start, there were Old-Time Jazz concerts, played by Mahogany's inhouse orchestra, though in time this was complemented by other regional jazz formations. By 1987 approximately 1'800 concerts had been played in the Mahogany Hall. Today, it is a meeting point for jazz, blues, folk and soul music lovers, for the famous and the as yet unknown names of the international and local music scene.

Dress Code: There isn't a dress code but try and remember that short trousers (on men) in the evening is not considered good manners.

Address: Klösterlistutz 18, Bern
Directions: Take the Number 12 bus (Schosshalde) to Bärengraben. The Mahogany Hall is opposite the bear pits.
