There several good restaurants in downtown Seattle, however, Wild Ginger is my favorite. Wild Ginger has certainly gained in popularity over the years, so, the restaurant is fairly crowded these days...which is attributable to the success of their food. So, definitely make reservations if you plan on dining there.
On the price side, I felt the cost was well balanced for the quality of food, service and atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere, Wild Ginger's new restaurant is very nice. The interior is quite warm and inviting given the rich wood materials used throughout that are accented by clean leading lines, which really gives their new space a very modern look and feel. Sophisticated, without being too stuffy...

Favorite Dish: The cuisine is Asian with items indigenous to Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia to name a few. I really couldn't pick a favorite item as all the dishes on the menu are excellent, fresh and quite creative...but definitely try the scallop and/or boar satays for starters.
