If you find yourself up bloody early in the morning and wondering around the streets of Somerville AND you are hungry AND in need of coffee, head to Carberry's near Davis Square.

This is nice, spacious bakery and coffee shop. There is plenty of room to spread out and read the paper. It's very fashionable coffee shop for the unemployed (a little more upscale clientele than the unemployed at the local DD)....I hit this place several mornings when I was unemployed in Boston, I would sit and watch all the poor schmucks who had to go to work come in for coffee...

Favorite Dish: Coffee...black...and a Danish...
