Brasserie van Baerle: "Brasserie van Baerle" Brasserie van Baerle Tip by eurotravels

Brasserie van Baerle, Amsterdam: 1 reviews and 0 photos

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was only printed in French and Dutch but the waitress explained everything in English. The Rough Guide describes the restaurant as light and airy but on the night that we went it was extremely smoky. As non-smokers, next time we will call in advance and reserve a table near the French doors that look like the open into a nice garden.
The menu recommended suitable wines for each dish.

Favorite Dish: There are a lot of unusual items on the menu, including beef from a Japanese cow that is massaged by hand every day to keep the meat tender (I don?t think that they were having us on).
