(hawker stalls): "(hawker stalls)" Malaysia Restaurant Tip by worm_star

The price is around RM3-RM4 which is around US$1-US$2.. and sometimes cheaper!... VERY reasonable and VERY VERY worth it!

Favorite Dish: Penang's Laksa (noodle with 'fishy' hot soup) If you would love to have a taste our various types of rice, there are Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice), Nasi Goreng Pattaya (Fried rice wrapped with egg), Nasi Kandar (White rice with curries). As for noodles, there are 3 main types of noodle which are called 'mee', 'mee hoon' and 'koay teow'. Mee has a brighter shade of yellow than spagetthi, Mee Hoon is a thin and translucent-like noodle while Koay Teow is a white and also translucent-like noodle which is 2-3 times wider than fetucchini. These noodles are prepared in many ways such as Fried, Hailam, Bandung, Soup, Cantonese, etc. Besides that, the wan tan noodle is also as delicious! *wink* Other than that, Malaysia is also famous with its Roti Canai. The way this dish is prepared is quite fascinating... And do not forget to try the 'famous Malaysian drink'.. Teh Tarik!

Address: Ravi's Canai and Such, etc.
