Favorite thing: Bryce Canyon is actually not a canyon. The side of a mountainrange here has been eroded in a very special and impressive way. Forms and shapes cut from the mountainflanks by (rain)water and wind have created a fairytale-world full of imaginary figures. Long towers with balancing rocks on top, church-organ-pipe-constructions and walls with little windows. In between the formations bushes and some trees add refreshing green and make a wonderful picture complete.

Fondest memory: We were in a strange mood when we were in Bryce Canyon N.P. and during our walk down and up the mountainside we were laughing about everything and nothing. Was it something in the air or just all the orange (our national colour) that was surrounding us.
