Hanna's Close, est. 1600's. A 'must stay' in my book! Especially since you won't see many 'thatched roof' cottages in Ireland anymore. Apparently it is an insurance hazard these days... too bad! Hannah's Close will give you the cottages of yesterday's Ireland though..that's what I was looking for and I found it there to be sure! Stone and hearth fireplace with peat fires, bathtub to sink into comfortably after day's hiking, kitchen, view of Kilkeel river, old-fashioned half door, kitchen and heated stone floor toboot!
