"Packing List" India Packing List Tip by wrldtravler

India What to Pack: 104 reviews and 43 photos

Luggage and bags: The country is very well connected by air and has the most used railway network in the world. So your bags will get there, but i'd suggest packing light and leaving room for stuff you buy in India. Cause things are really cheap and have beautiful craftsmanship and material.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: everythings available.

Photo Equipment: Get a good quality camera and you'll go home with some splendid pictures full of color and character. Do i need to suggest that always keep an eye on your camera..

Miscellaneous: Travelling within India can be at times both a treat and somewhat of a task. Mainly cause there's so much to see and making a decision on what is right for you can be over-whelming. Also Indians travel a lot within India so tickets for rail and air need to be arranged in advance. I would suggest getting a travel agency to do the work for you. Labor is cheap in India and it will free up your time to do the more interesting things while someone else stands in Q. www.sultana.com is a travel agency i'd recommend.
