"Go to the Clonmacnoise" Clonmacnoise Monastery Tip by bkathryn

Clonmacnoise Monastery, Ireland: 22 reviews and 40 photos

The old monastic site of Clonmacnoise, and cross-roads of Ireland, is definitely worth a visit. It has attracted pilgrims for nearly 1500 years. As a sidebar, it's on the River Shannon, which is also worth seeing. We were there in March 1999.
